The hotel has a history of over 125 years; it played a decisive role in the artistic and cultural life of Budapest throughout the century. In 2012, the renewed Hotel Nemzeti opened its doors. Keeping the eclectic style of the building, it was enriched with a modern interior design, providing a place for contemporary Hungarian works of art.
